Happiness and What It Means

Lollipops and dancing queens,
Flowers blooming in sun beams,
Happiness and what it means.
These should all be in my dreams.
Shining knights and beautiful dames,
Superstars and all their fame.
When I'm in my dreams tonight
These thoughts will help me sleep so tight.
But these are not what I will see.
Tonight monsters will haunt me.
For far to long it's been this way
Because the pain won't go away.
Oh, what I'd give to see the light
Instead of dreaming in a world of fright.
I cannot cope with this much longer.
It is only making my fears stronger.
Happiness and what it means,
That's what should be in my dreams.
